SANTANA

Santana was developed in 1978 by the University of Wageningen and was introduced in 1996. This apple is scab resistant and therefore suitable for organic cultivation. Santana is also suitable for people with a mild apple allergy.

Recognizability
Santana is a striped red apple on yellow-green background. When stored, the skin gets a bit greasy. The ripe apple has a tangy and aromatic taste. The flesh is quite hard, crunchy and juicy.
