Royal Gala has yellowish-white, juicy flesh and a sweet flavor. The acidity is quite low.

Status
Royal Gala can be picked in the Netherlands from mid-September to the fourth week of September. It can be stored until the end of February when kept under ULO conditions. There are also more mutants with a red blush, like Prince Regal and Royal Gala.
